SpellingCity and NComputing

In an effort to reduce information technology costs, many schools are turning to virtualization technologies, such as those offered by NComputing. While VocabularySpellingCity has been successfully deployed and tested in such virtual environments, certain factors must be taken into account.

Due to the way most virtualization systems operate, it is imperative that every terminal be logged in using a different account. In other words, each student must have his/her own terminal station/system Login ID. If the same account is used, profile and session information will be corrupted, in turn causing further data logging problems. NComputing in particular requires that each station use a different account (this is not to be confused with a VocabularySpellingCity student account).
