Login Problems

The ability to successfully log into an account is vital for teachers and parents to use our resources and for students of Premium Members to have their activities recorded. Please note that students need to log in ONLY if their teacher or parent is a Premium Member and has assigned them a username and password. DO NOT SHARE YOUR PERSONAL LOGIN INFORMATION WITH YOUR STUDENTS. They can access their teacher’s word lists by using our Teacher/Parent search OR teachers can share the URL to their own VocabularySpellingCity homepage with them.

Your personal homepage URL is https://www.spellingcity.com/yourusername.

So, if your username is “mrteacher,” your URL would be https://www.spellingcity.com/mrteacher.

If you are experiencing problems logging in, please consult the FAQs below for solutions.

Common FAQs

PARENT/TEACHER LOGIN PROBLEMS:

I keep getting an error message stating that my username or password is incorrect. Can I reset my password?

Yes. There are two ways to have your password reset:

  1. Click here to request a new password. A temporary password will be emailed to the address associated with your account.
  2. Email Client Services at sales@learninga-z.com and we will reset your password. Once logged in, create a new password through Edit Profile.

STUDENT LOGIN PROBLEMS:

When my child tries to log in, it says that the username or password is incorrect. Is there a way to retrieve this information?

Contact your child’s teacher directly for this information.

Note: If your child’s school has a School Code activated, the student MUST log in on the school’s VocabularySpellingCity homepage, not on the Login page. Find your school’s homepage by clicking here. The School Code also must be entered when logging into the app. Contact your child’s teacher for this information.

When my child tries to log in, it says the teacher’s Premium Membership has expired. What should I do?

Please notify your child’s teacher about this message immediately. He/she will need to contact VocabularySpellingCity Client Services to resolve the issue.
